New Leaf Research & Communications, established in 2007, is an independent provider of freelance prospect research, grant proposal writing, and academic research and writing services to individual, nonprofit and corporate clients. New Leaf is owned by Amy Hostler (resume; profile at Freelancers Union) and specializes in groups with organizational missions related to science, health, and/or religion.
As of June 2008, I (Amy) am working full-time as a prospect researcher and unable to accept freelance fundraising-related assignments. I hope to still tackle the occasional freelance academic research project related to religious studies.
